Sean Keehan, retired Principal, came and spoke to our Senior Classes about the famine and especially
"The Female Orphan Emigration Scheme 1848-51."
He has asked them to research the Famine in Peterswell and ask their Grandparents about stories, fables and recipes they have from Famine times.Please help them..
Also he has asked them what they would include in their "Luggage Box"
on their way to Australia or Canada.
